SiGMA Poker Tour (SPT) is making its way to Brazil for the first time, bringing five days of high-stakes poker action to São Paulo from April 9 to 14. The tournament promises intense competition with a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool, exclusive VIP experiences, and top-tier accommodations.
The event will also mark the debut of the Hendon Mob Latam Championships (THMC Latam), a new milestone in expanding the global poker scene into Latin America. Roland Boothby, Head of Partnerships at GPI/The Hendon Mob, emphasized the importance of this move, stating, “The Hendon Mob Championship (THMC) live events are a key tool in connecting the international poker community with up-and-coming live events and tours, and we expect this partnership to build on the success of previous collaborations with Ivonne Montealegre.”
The Monte Carlo Poker Club, known for its premium poker facilities and lively atmosphere, will host the event. Players will have the chance to compete against SPT ambassadors, including former footballer John Arne Riise, poker pro Drea Karlsen, and content creator LenVlogs. Their presence is expected to bring additional excitement and competition to the tables.
More Than Just Poker
The tournament will go beyond the felt, offering exclusive networking opportunities, fine dining, and live entertainment. Attendees can also enjoy an MMA fight night as part of the event’s entertainment lineup. Additionally, the SiGMA Foundation will extend its charitable initiatives to São Paulo, furthering its efforts to support local communities.
Participants can select from two premium packages. The Standard Package includes a Main Event buy-in, a five-night stay at Hilton Morumbi, access to the BiS SiGMA Americas Official Party, unlimited food and drinks at Monte Carlo Poker Club, conference entry, and a meet-and-greet with SPT ambassadors.
The VIP Package offers everything in the Standard Package plus exclusive access to a celebration event and premium seating for the Centurion MMA fight night.
