Dutch Gambling Market Experts to Speak at 2025 Gaming in Holland Conference

The Gaming in Holland Conference is set to return on June 5, 2025, at the KIT Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam. The annual event brings together key figures in the Netherlands’ regulated gambling industry, providing insights into market changes, legal developments, and future trends.
Several industry leaders have been confirmed as speakers at the event. Among them are Arjan Blok, CEO of Nederlandse Loterij; Renske Fikkers, Head of Market Supervision at the Netherlands Gambling Authority; Justin Franssen, Partner at Franssen Tolboom Advocaten; Dr. Andreas Ditsche, CEO of iGaming.com; and Josh Hodgson, COO of H2 Gambling Capital.

A major focus this year will be the upcoming changes to the Dutch Remote Gambling Act. Teun Struycken, State Secretary for Legal Protection, recently announced a broad revision of the law, prompting discussions across the industry. The Dutch Lower House is holding roundtable sessions to examine the current state of the regulated gambling market. A detailed debate with the state secretary is scheduled for March 27, making regulatory changes a central topic at the conference.

Attendees will have opportunities to network throughout the day, including a canal boat tour and post-event drinks at Holland Casino. The “Dutch Online Casino of the Year” award ceremony will also take place during the closing networking session.

The conference offers a chance to stay informed about industry changes and connect with influential decision-makers. With critical regulatory shifts on the horizon, discussions at the event will shape perspectives on the future of gambling in the Netherlands.
