Choctaw Casinos & Resorts, Bitline, and Everi have teamed up to bring cryptocurrency withdrawals to casino patrons. This new option allows players to convert winnings into digital assets, marking a shift in how funds are accessed in the gaming industry.
The service launched on Friday, with Choctaw Durant, Oklahoma location processing the first transaction. According to the companies, this partnership introduces digital assets as a new source of liquidity for casino-goers, a first in the American gaming sector. With this new payment option in place, Choctaw Casinos & Resorts, Everi, and Bitline are working to bring more flexibility to gaming transactions.
Choctaw Casinos & Resorts Senior Director of Cage and Credit Thomas McDonald said the company looks forward to offering customers a new payment option. “We are excited to be the first casino in North America to offer our guests another way to play,” he said.
McDonald also highlighted the casino’s long-standing relationship with Everi, a financial technology provider. “Through our long-term relationship with Everi, a leader in fintech solutions, we will continue to invest in innovative offerings that provide the discerning gaming VIP access to funds in a safe and secure manner.”
Bitline CEO Richard Jones called the launch a key step for both the gaming and blockchain industries. “Working with Choctaw Casinos & Resorts and Everi to make this a reality is a historical moment for both the casino and blockchain industries. Bitline was conceptualized to advance the gaming sector and offer a wider variety of financial options for the casino industry,” he said.
Jones added that cryptocurrency is set to change the way casinos handle financial transactions. “We’re entering an era where digital assets can fundamentally enhance the gaming experience, providing casino operators with a future-ready financial framework that can expand and evolve as the industry does. This collaboration is just the beginning of our vision to modernize casino payment capabilities on a global scale.”
Everi’s Senior Vice President of Product Management, Payments Solutions, Victor Newsom, explained how crypto integration benefits players. “This unique integration combines Bitline’s additional payment accessibility options with Everi’s ability to enable seamless, secure, and regulatory compliant financial transactions for casino patrons,” he said.
Newsom emphasized that cryptocurrency provides players with more flexible access to funds compared to traditional banking systems. “Designed from the ground up to exceed the rigorous compliance demands of the industry as well as the discerning expectations of gaming VIPs around the world, Choctaw’s patrons are now no longer limited to the access, times, amount, and speed constraints of the legacy financial systems. This also significantly reduces risk for our casino customers, such as Choctaw.”
