Using the BetMGM app, Academy Award-winning actor Jamie Foxx takes center stage and brings the thrill of Las Vegas to life. The campaign’s goal is to demonstrate how seamlessly online and offline casino experiences can coexist.
Foxx, who has collaborated with BetMGM for years, expressed his enthusiasm for the project. “BetMGM has been a phenomenal company to work with the past few years, and creating this new commercial for their online casino was no exception. I love the way the spot turned out,” he said.
Showcasing MGM Resorts’ Iconic Destinations
Set to premiere on March 4, the 30-second commercial highlights the connection between BetMGM Casino and MGM Resorts International. Foxx travels through some of MGM’s most famous Las Vegas properties, including Bellagio, Aria Resort & Casino, and MGM Grand.
Highdive, BetMGM’s agency of record, developed the ad, while filmmakers Emmett and Brendan Malloy directed it. Cinematographer Jeff Cronenweth, known for his striking visuals, brought the commercial to life.
BetMGM’s Chief Marketing Officer, Casey Hurbis, emphasized the significance of the campaign, stating, “Jamie Foxx is an extraordinary talent and a pivotal part of the way we showcase the best of BetMGM. This spot brilliantly captures BetMGM’s major differentiator of blending online and in-person casino experiences.”
In the five North American markets where BetMGM Casino operates—Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ontario—the commercial will be broadcast. Through its digital platform, BetMGM hopes to showcase the excitement of Las Vegas and solidify its position as a pioneer in online gambling with Vegas Lights.
