Wynn Al Marjan May Feature Multiple Gaming Spaces, Executive Suggests

Last year, Wynn Resorts created history by obtaining the first commercial gambling license for its Wynn Al Marjan resort in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). At first, the business affirmed that there would only be one casino at the resort. But according to a recent executive statement, there might be more gaming spaces added.

More than 1,500 hotel rooms will be part of the enormous resort, which is already 55% finished. The 224,000-square-foot main casino, almost two dozen food options, and a 900-seat entertainment facility will all be major draws. Recent information suggests that there may be more than one gaming area on the land.

Private Gaming Space Planned on Upper Floor

Speaking at the Exotic Wedding Planning Conference in Ras Al Khaimah, David Loiseau, Wynn Al Marjan’s VP of sales, revealed that the resort could house multiple gaming areas. “There will be two or three areas when it comes to gaming,” Loiseau said. He further explained that a sky gaming casino might be established on the 22nd floor in addition to the main casino floor.

“We’ll have a sky gaming casino on the 22nd floor and the main casino. We’re putting all the ingredients together to make sure that entertainment will be at the heart of this destination,” he added.

Following his remarks, Wynn Resorts clarified that current plans include a second gaming space on the upper floor but no third area at this time. The company compared this setup to its Las Vegas Strip resorts, where private gaming salons cater to high-end clientele. “In addition to the main gaming floor, there will also be an upper floor private gaming area, or salon privé, which is common in integrated resorts,” Wynn Resorts stated.

As Wynn Al Marjan nears completion, interest in the company continues to grow. This week, billionaire Tilman Fertitta announced he had increased his stake in Wynn Resorts to over 10%. With this move, he is now classified as a “business insider” for the company.

Loiseau emphasized the resort’s ambition to become a premier entertainment hub. “I’m not saying we’re bringing Las Vegas to Ras Al Khaimah, but it’ll be something along those lines,” he said. As construction progresses, Wynn Al Marjan is poised to become a key player in the region’s hospitality and gaming industry.
