With a $10,000 donation to the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City and the Boardwalk 1000 Foundation have kicked off their yearly 12 Days of Giving campaign. This kind donation is the start of the resort’s broader plan to assist neighborhood organizations throughout Christmas season long. The goal of the initiative is to donate more than $50,000 to different causes, carrying on Hard Rock Atlantic City’s legacy of community service since its founding in 2018.
A Strong Legacy of Giving
Since its inception, Hard Rock Atlantic City has made significant contributions to over 500 charitable organizations. The 12 Days of Giving campaign will provide critical support to 12 organizations this year, including well-established local causes such as Covenant House Atlantic City, Kelly’s Kidz, and Live to Serve. Other recipients include Holidays for Heroes’ Shop with a Cop, ARC of Atlantic County, Court Appointed Special Advocates, and the Atlantic County Toys for Kids initiative.
Hard Rock Atlantic City President George Goldhoff emphasized the importance of the campaign, stating, “We are proud to live by our company’s mottos through our 12 Days of Giving holiday campaign to offer support to our community in such an impactful way.” This initiative exemplifies Hard Rock’s ongoing dedication to supporting both local and national organizations that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
In addition to the 12 Days of Giving campaign, Hard Rock International and Seminole Gaming recently announced a new partnership with Ocean Conservancy, a non-profit focused on protecting the ocean. Through this collaboration, the companies aim to enhance sustainability efforts across Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming properties, as well as in the communities and tourist destinations they serve.
Goldhoff expressed his appreciation for the community’s support, saying, “I am deeply grateful for our customers who generously donate to the Boardwalk 1000 Foundation which partnered with Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City in helping to make a difference this holiday season.”
