Under its revised regulatory framework, the Danish Gambling Authority has opened the application procedure for land-based bingo licenses. On January 1, 2025, these licenses will go into effect, enabling operators to lawfully provide bingo services.
Key Dates and Guidelines
Applications must be submitted by December 10, 2024, for operators hoping to begin in January 2025. A special “Land-Based Bingo” webpage offers comprehensive application materials and step-by-step directions to expedite the procedure. Applications that are complete and meet all standards will be handled quickly. Conditional clauses in licenses might provide operators more time to comply with legal requirements.
On December 5, 2024, the Danish Gambling Authority will hold an educational session at Englandsgade 25, Odense, to assist applicants. To find out more about the revised bingo procedures and rules, interested parties should register by November 29, 2024.
