MGM Resorts is set to bring the energy of the Las Vegas Grand Prix to the Strip, rolling out a host of Formula 1-inspired events and attractions across its properties. In collaboration with the Bellagio, MGM is transforming the area around its main entrance from November 21 to 23, offering racing fans exclusive experiences. The Bellagio’s Fountain Club will also host a VIP race weekend, aiming to give guests an unforgettable vantage point for the event.
Fans can also look forward to unique viewing experiences across MGM properties. The Cosmopolitan’s Boulevard Rooftop pool will turn into a Boulevard Watch Party, giving attendees a prime view in a vibrant atmosphere. At ARIA, visitors can immerse themselves in a new virtual reality Grand Prix simulator, while in front of New York-New York, the Brooklyn Bridge will showcase an interactive attraction created with the Williams F1 team.
Andrew Lanzino, MGM Resorts’ Vice President of Citywide Events Strategy, shared the company’s excitement, saying, “We are gearing up for this year’s race with a variety of new experiences at our resorts along the track that will make this Grand Prix event uniquely Las Vegas. Our most famous landmarks, destinations, entertainers and culinary talents will take part in delivering a race weekend that’s unbeatable.”
This series of events follows a strong third quarter for MGM Resorts. The company reported a 5% year-over-year increase in revenue, reaching $4.2 billion, with MGM China being a major contributor to this growth.
