Well-known iGaming content supplier BGaming has gone above and beyond gaming to assist a Lisbon educational effort. The corporation made a €10,000 donation to The European Intercultural Club, a non-profit that specializes in youth education and training. Through the program, the group hopes to promote community connections and innovation.
Promoting Creativity Through Nature and Cinema
The donation from BGaming has been directed towards the club’s operational needs, facility repairs, and most notably, the “Urban Nature Project – A Macro Story.” This initiative helps children connect with their urban environment in a hands-on, interdisciplinary way by combining nature with filmmaking. Cinematic artist Gonçalo Almeida, a renowned figure in Portugal’s film industry, will guide students in learning essential film skills such as storytelling, shooting, and editing.
Through nature walks and filmmaking workshops, students will develop artistic talents while raising environmental awareness. This initiative not only enhances their creative abilities but also strengthens the connection between the school, the broader community, and the natural world.
BGaming has been consistently supporting creative endeavors, making this its third charitable project in 2024. The company previously contributed to an art institute in Brazil and a youth chess center in Poland. CEO Marina Ostrovtsova highlighted BGaming’s focus on creativity, saying, “Creativity is a proven way to support young children’s development, and we take joy in donating to valuable causes that champion this.” She emphasized how the project mirrors BGaming’s dedication to building strong communities through art, much like their approach to producing creative games.
Ana Quintela, General Coordinator at The European Intercultural Club, expressed gratitude, stating, “We’re happy that BGaming reached out to us, enabling the local school to implement a cinema workshop project.” The donation arrived just in time to support a program that aligns with the community’s educational goals.
