Significant changes have been made to the roster of authorized sports betting providers by the Rio de Janeiro State Lottery (Loterj). A change in the industry is shown by Esportes Gaming Brasil’s recent acquisition of ST Soft Desenvolvimento de Programa de Computadores, which runs the Apostou.com platform. In order to prepare itself for future expansion in the cutthroat betting industry, Esportes Gaming Brasil, best known for its Esportes da Sorte brand, has acquired a majority stake in ST Soft.
Corporate Restructuring and Domain Updates
Following the acquisition, ST Soft requested approval from Loterj to modify its domain names to esportesdasorte.com and onabet.com, reflecting its new ownership while retaining its operational licenses. Accredited by Loterj since November 2023, the company’s request has undergone a comprehensive review by the regulatory body. Loterj confirmed that ST Soft continues to comply with all legal standards, including qualifications in finance, taxation, labor, and technical competencies.
To further strengthen its position in the market, the company supplied all certificates mandated by the regulatory environment.
Due to these modifications, Loterj has formally updated its roster of authorized brands that are present in the Rio de Janeiro sports betting market. The sites that are now part of the newly enlarged roster are: onabet.com; pixbet.com; pixhora.com; riojogos.com; vaidebet.com; ganharbet.com; lotolegal.com; esportivodasorte.com; bestbet.com.br; betvip.com; caesarsports.com.br; and ganharbet.com.
This development demonstrates Esportes da Sorte’s calculated decision to increase its market share in Rio de Janeiro by taking advantage of the reputable companies’ reach and credibility.
