Australian rapper Iggy Azalea is expanding her entrepreneurial ventures with the launch of Motherland, an online crypto casino. Powered by her memecoin, MOTHER, the platform is set to debut in November. Azalea introduced the project during her “Motherland Rodeo” event at Solana Breakpoint in Singapore.
Motherland will provide a variety of traditional online casino games. Players can enjoy slots, blackjack, roulette, and poker, among other options. Additionally, the platform will feature live dealer games, tournaments, sports betting, and community-based activities.
This new casino launch follows Azalea’s recent move in the telecom sector. Three months ago, she re-launched Unreal Mobile, a telecommunications company offering mobile devices and plans. Unreal Mobile provides tiered discounts for MOTHER token holders, blending both of Azalea’s ventures.
However, the MOTHER token has faced challenges. Despite an initial surge after its May 28 launch, which saw its market valuation hit $260 million in just 10 days, the token has since dropped significantly. At the time of writing, its market cap sits around $50 million, far below its early peak. This decline comes despite the excitement around Azalea’s various business moves.
