Dana White, UFC’s CEO, recently shared captivating insights into his gambling experiences on the Full Send Podcast. He detailed his high-stakes bets and substantial wins at Caesars Palace, a renowned Las Vegas Strip casino. During the podcast, White reflected on his gambling philosophy, stating, “I have a very high f**king tolerance for risk. You gotta have to… have a high tolerance for risk. And you have to have a certain mindset.”
Impressive Winnings and Losses
White, a notable high-roller, confessed to winning approximately $1 million per night while playing baccarat at Caesars Palace. He further revealed that between January and March, his total winnings at the casino ranged from $26 to $27 million. At Caesars Palace, White bets $350,000 per hand, while his stakes at Bellagio reach $400,000. He described these bets as “f**king big boy play.”
However, White’s gambling journey is not without its pitfalls. He shared that his largest single-night loss amounted to a staggering $8 million. Discussing the tendency of some gamblers to chase losses, White emphasized the importance of knowing one’s limits.
White outlined his gaming strategy, mentioning that he typically plays until he wins between $800,000 and $1 million, then leaves. He noted, “I win three hands in a row. We’re leaving.” White also described starting each baccarat game on a fresh board, emphasizing the 50/50 nature of the bets and his preference for betting on the banker.
He also mentioned that Caesars Palace hosts over two dozen high-rollers like himself, with some spending even more. White expressed his aspiration to place $1 million bets per hand and seek $30 million in credit. Despite this ambition, he admitted, “No,” when asked if any casino would accommodate such an offer.
