Evolution Gaming Group has taken a significant step toward expanding its iGaming product line with the acquisition of Arcadia Gaming Solutions, a Dutch iGaming technology company. The acquisition is expected to close by the end of 2024, and Evolution will pay an upfront payment of €2.5 million for the property. In 2027, earn-outs will also be given, based on how well Arcadia does in games.
Arcadia’s Unique Contribution
Founded in 2019 by Arion Labs, Arcadia Gaming Solutions has built a reputation for bringing innovative arcade-style games to online casinos. Their hit game, “Fortune Pusher,” and others have transformed traditional arcade experiences into engaging online live casino games. Arcadia has pioneered a new category of online gaming, allowing players to interact with physical arcade machines via their mobile or desktop devices.

The company’s worldwide B2B video-streaming technology enables a real-time, immersive gaming experience, which Evolution views as a unique asset.
This acquisition is part of a broader strategy for Evolution. The company reported impressive revenue of €1.80 billion ($1.99 billion) in 2023, with its live casino games generating 84.7% of the total. CEO Martin Carlesund expressed the company’s growth ambitions: “We will continue to invest, recruit, and expand our operations across the globe.”
Additionally, Evolution said earlier this year that it would buy Galaxy Gaming for $85 million; the deal is anticipated to completion in the middle of 2025. Furthermore, after launching its online slots in Delaware in March, Evolution collaborated with Rush Street Interactive to offer its live casino games through BetRivers.
