Caesars Entertainment has formed a new partnership with the Detroit Lions ahead of the 2024-2025 NFL season. This collaboration will offer unique fan experiences for Caesars Rewards members while incorporating Detroit Lions branding into online casino games on Caesars’ digital platforms.
The reigning NFC North division champions are teaming up with Caesars to deliver customized experiences for their loyal fanbase. Caesars Rewards members will benefit from exclusive opportunities, blending Detroit Lions logos and marks into various online casino games. Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “We’re thrilled to partner with the Detroit Lions to bring opportunities to their fans that cater to their interests and are unique to the royal experience only Caesars can deliver.”
This collaboration further strengthens Caesars’ presence in Michigan, a state where the company already enjoys a strong connection with sports fans. Hession added, “Partnering with one of the most passionate fan bases in the NFL will help us grow that connection as we continue to expand our offerings in the state with the launch of Horseshoe online casino later this year.”
Expanding Presence at Ford Field and Digital Platforms
As part of the deal, Caesars sportsbook will become the official sports betting partner, while Caesars Entertainment will serve as the official iGaming partner for the Detroit Lions. Fans attending games at Ford Field will see Caesars brands prominently featured throughout the stadium. Caesars will also be integrated into Detroit Lions Radio Network broadcasts, as well as the team’s social media and digital channels.
Detroit Lions VP of Corporate Partnerships, Mace Aluia, emphasized the importance of this partnership, saying, “As we embark on this season, we’re proud to enhance our fan experiences with Caesars Entertainment.” He highlighted that the collaboration will provide Lions fans with exclusive opportunities to engage both at Ford Field and through Caesars’ digital platforms.
Since 2020, Caesars sportsbook has offered in-person sports betting in Michigan, along with mobile wagering since 2021, through a partnership with the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians.
