The REVERB by Hard Rock hotel that Hard Rock International plans to build in Pensacola is scheduled to begin construction in 2026 and open for business in 2029. The company already has REVERB properties in Atlanta, Hamburg, Kalamazoo, Tampa, and Scottsdale. This will be its sixth location.
Hard Rock’s REVERB seeks to serve as a hub for culture where travelers, residents, and music lovers can come together to create. Todd Hricko, SVP and Head of Global Hotel Development at Hard Rock International, stated, “Hard Rock is thrilled to keep growing our REVERB hotel portfolio with what will be the second planned property in Florida, this time in the heart of Pensacola Bay.”
Trusted Partnership with Dawson Company
The Dawson Company, known for its mixed-use developments in cities like Atlanta, Cincinnati, Baltimore, and Pensacola, will be a key partner in this project. Hricko expressed confidence in their capabilities: “We have full confidence in our partner, the Dawson Company, to deliver a best-in-class hotel based on their four decades of proven experience executing complex and catalytic projects throughout the eastern US, and their extensive knowledge of the Pensacola market.”
Tamara Bowens, President and COO of the Dawson Company, echoed the enthusiasm: “With its roots in music, entertainment and philanthropy, Hard Rock is a wonderful partner for the Dawson Company to continue extending our real estate footprint. We are truly excited to bring the REVERB by Hard Rock to the city of Pensacola.”
The development will also involve collaboration with Gensler, Kravitz Design, and Thornton Tomasetti. Notably, Pensacola native and NFL Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith, CEO of EJ Smith Enterprises, will contribute to the project.
