The Oregon Lottery and Light & Wonder have made great strides toward expanding gaming around the state in less than a year after forming their collaboration. 1,175 Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs) from Light & Wonder were acquired by the Lottery last year. In order to bolster Light & Wonder’s position in Oregon, they have now made the decision to purchase an additional 1,200.
Expanding Gaming Horizons
Light & Wonder announced the additional VLT placements, which will bring even more gaming options to Oregon. Niaz Nejad, Managing Director of Americas Gaming at Light & Wonder, expressed excitement about this expansion: “We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the Oregon Lottery and to provide their players with our state-of-the-art KASCADA Dual Screen Multi-Games.”
He further noted, “The additional placement of over 1,200 VLTs is a testament to the success and popularity of our games in the region. We are committed to delivering innovative and engaging gaming experiences that enhance player enjoyment and drive growth for our customers.”
These new machines will feature a variety of popular games, including Blazing Hot Celebrations, Lightning Tusks, American Original, Bier Haus, American Original Stars and Bars, Quick Hit Money Wheel, Treasure Fruits, and Flush Frenzy Poker.
The Oregon Lottery is equally enthusiastic about this continued collaboration. Sar Richards, Oregon Lottery Manager of Video Gaming Products, stated, “We’re excited to continue our partnership in bringing Light & Wonder’s popular games and product expertise to our video lottery players.” Richards also praised Light & Wonder’s responsiveness to feedback, noting that they “consistently use our feedback to deliver quality products that benefit our team and customers.”
In addition to the increased number of VLTs, Light & Wonder has also introduced their newest large-screen Jumbo cabinet series, Horizon. Launched in April, this innovative machine features a 75-inch screen with surrounding LED panels, representing the next phase of their Jumbo cabinet lineup.
