Harrah’s Northern California has announced its pioneering move to introduce HotSeat Jackpot, making it the first casino in the United States to offer this innovative player-funded drawing experience.
Harrah’s Northern California Senior Vice President and General Manager, Jeff Cutri, expressed enthusiasm about launching HotSeat Jackpot, emphasizing its unique digital hot seat drawing every hour. He stated, “We’re excited to be the first to offer HotSeat Jackpot, which provides our guests with a convenient digital hot seat drawing experience every hour.”
How It Works
Every hour, a tablet signals the start of a four-minute betting window. Players can place bets ranging from $1 to $100, with each dollar serving as an entry into the drawing. As bets accumulate during the betting window, the jackpot grows in real-time, visible to all participating players.
When the betting window closes, a winner is randomly selected by the game system. The announcement flashes across all tables, revealing the winner and the size of the jackpot.
HotSeat Lotto CEO, Lance Lietzau, expressed confidence in partnering with Harrah’s Northern California for the U.S. debut of HotSeat Jackpot. He highlighted the success of their similar products in Mexico and the seamless integration achieved through their wide area progressive system. Lance stated, “We couldn’t imagine a better partner than Harrah’s Northern California to debut our cutting edge community-based hot seat gaming product here in the US.”
HotSeat Jackpot aims to address common player complaints about traditional hot seat games by offering a more frequent and accessible gaming experience. The integration of tablets across the casino floor ensures that all tables are connected, enhancing convenience and excitement for players.
