Rivers Casino Pittsburgh recently completed a significant $6.6 million renovation, enhancing its North Shore events and entertainment hub. The project introduced the new Bridges Ballroom and upgraded amenities while also refurbishing the existing Rivers Ballroom.
The renovation added over 50,000 square feet of “rentable and reservable” space. The newly built Bridges Ballroom spans 7,044 square feet, designed to meet the increasing demand for event venues. Situated with a scenic view of the Ohio River, the ballroom features a balcony, offering guests stunning panoramic views.
A statement from Rivers Casino Pittsburgh emphasized the comprehensive in-house event planning services available with the new space. “Bridges Ballroom, like all special occasion spaces at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh, comes with comprehensive in-house event planning services. Rivers Casino’s executive chef and expert team of cooks and servers will deliver a custom-curated menu prepared on-site, accommodating everything from receptions to plated dinners, buffets, and more.”
Enhancements and Future Plans
The renovation of the Rivers Ballroom included new carpeting and furnishings. This space, originally opened to guests in 2011, has been refreshed to continue providing top-tier services for various events. Bud Green, General Manager of Rivers Casino Pittsburgh, expressed excitement about the new additions. “With the stadiums and other nearby attractions on the North Shore – not to mention our own full-service gaming floor, BetRivers Sportsbook, and The Landing Hotel – our events calendar fills up quickly. We’re happy to provide new spaces and more dates for hosting conferences, weddings, and special events.”
Since its opening in 2009, Rivers Casino Pittsburgh has been a premier destination for 24/7 entertainment. The casino boasts 1,900 slot machines, 95 table games, 55 hybrid gaming seats, and a 30-table poker room, continually attracting visitors for both gaming and events.
