Flutter Entertainment, a global leader in online sports betting and iGaming, has announced new additions to its Board of Directors. Christine M. McCarthy and Robert R. (“Dob”) Bennett will join the board effective July 30, 2024. McCarthy will serve on the Audit Committee, while Bennett will join the Risk and Sustainability Committee.

Christine McCarthy is a seasoned entertainment executive with a long tenure at The Walt Disney Company. She most recently served as a Strategic Advisor and previously held roles as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. She joined Disney in 2000 as Senior Vice President and Treasurer, eventually becoming Executive Vice President, Corporate Real Estate, Alliances, and Treasurer before assuming the CFO role. Currently, McCarthy is a director at The Procter & Gamble Company, where she chairs the Audit Committee, and at FM Global, where she leads the Finance Committee.
Robert Bennett is the Managing Director of Hilltop Investments, LLC, a private investment firm. His past roles include President of Discovery Holding Company and President and CEO of Liberty Media Corporation. Bennett also worked at Tele-Communications, Inc. and The Bank of New York. He is currently a director at HP Inc. and Liberty Media. Bennett’s previous directorships include positions at Warner Bros. Discovery, Sprint Corporation, Demand Media, Liberty Interactive Corporation, and Sprint Nextel Corporation.
Flutter Entertainment operates prominent brands such as FanDuel, Sky Bet, PokerStars, and Betfair. The inclusion of McCarthy and Bennett aims to bolster the company’s strategic direction and strengthen its governance framework.
