Yuri Dzivielevski, a 32-year-old poker professional from Florianópolis, Brazil, has secured his fifth World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet. He won the $3,000 buy-in nine-game mixed event, earning $215,982.
Dzivielevski first won a WSOP bracelet in 2019. His latest victory means he now owns nearly a fifth of Brazil’s 26 total bracelets. He remains Brazil’s only multi-bracelet winner and joins an elite group of 40 players in poker history with five or more bracelets.
This recent win marks Dzivielevski’s third bracelet in a multi-game event. He won the $2,500 mixed Omaha eight-or-better and stud eight-or-better in 2019 and the $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. last year. His other two bracelets came from pot-limit Omaha events, including the 2020 WSOP Online $400 ‘PLOssus’ and last year’s $10,000 PLO championship.
Dzivielevski’s total tournament earnings now approach $7.7 million, with more than $4.4 million from WSOP tournaments alone.
The nine-game mixed event drew 379 entries, creating a prize pool of $1,011,930. Among the 57 players who cashed were notable names such as 17-time bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth (45th), six-time winner Shaun Deeb (43rd), five-time winner Robert Mizrachi (39th), six-time winner Brian Rast (29th), 2021 WSOP main event champion Koray Aldemir (15th), four-time winners Phil Hui (14th) and Ben Yu (13th), and five-time winner Adam Friedman (12th).
After his win, Dzivielevski shared, “I think each bracelet has a special feeling, a special memory. I cannot compare it to other bracelets. It’s always an amazing feeling, I can’t explain how amazing it is.”
