Patrick Moulder has won a World Series of Poker bracelet. Competing in the 2024 WSOP Event #56: $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw Lowball (Limit), the Las Vegas resident earned his first bracelet and a prize of $177,045.
This win represents Moulder’s highest live tournament payout. He also achieved his second and third-largest earnings during this year’s series, finishing eighth in the $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. championship for $41,281 and ninth in the $10,000 Omaha eight-or-better championship for $35,838. With these accomplishments, Moulder’s career earnings now exceed $319,000.
The event featured deuce-to-seven triple draw lowball, ace-to-five triple draw lowball, and badugi, attracting 371 participants. The prize pool totaled $825,475, with payouts for the top 56 finishers.
Several well-known players made deep runs, including bracelet winners like Ismael Bojang (37th), Motoyoshi Okamura (34th), Gary Benson (27th), and Shawn Buchanan (14th). Shaun Deeb, a six-time bracelet winner, reached the final table but was the first to exit, finishing sixth after Moulder knocked him out in a round of ace-to-five. Deeb earned $26,033 for his effort. Chad Eveslage, holding three bracelets of which he won two in 2023, finished fifth, taking home $52,140.
Reflecting on his victory, Moulder said, “It means so much to me. My goal was to make one final table this summer. I made one early but got knocked out quickly. It was great to have a long Day 3 and finally get the win.”
