Nicholas Seward claimed victory in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Event #31: $3,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold’em at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. He earned his first WSOP gold bracelet and $516,135.
Seward bested a field of 1,230 players, taking the largest share of the $3,284,100 prize pool by defeating runner-up Konstantyn Holskyi.
A Las Vegas resident, Seward regularly plays tournaments year-round with buy-ins ranging from $400 to $10,000. This win marks his second first-place finish, with his first in a $400 buy-in event in the Venetian back in 2022. His previous best cash was $320,631, which he earned by finishing fourth at a $3,500 Wynn Summer Classic event in June 2023. He now has $1,257,966 in tournament winnings according to the HendonMob.
“I’m just so grateful for my friends, my family, and just the experience,” Seward said after receiving his bracelet, ready to celebrate with friends.
