Robert Mizrachi Wins Fifth WSOP Bracelet in Event #13: $10,000 Dealer’s Choice Championship

Robert Mizrachi has added a fifth WSOP bracelet to his collection. The final three players in Event #13: $10,000 Dealer’s Choice Championship returned for an extra day of play. In his first final-table finish of 2024, Mizrachi outlasted Ryutaro Suzuki and Michael Martinelli, earning $333,045 after competing against 141 entrants.

Several well-known players came close to the final table but fell short, including David ‘Bakes’ Baker, John Monnette, Nick Schulman, Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, and Max Kruse.

In the heads-up play for the title, Mizrachi started with a 2:1 chip lead over Michael Martinelli. Mizrachi extended his lead early and kept his advantage until the final hand during a round of pot-limit deuce-to-seven triple draw lowball.

Both players drew three cards at the start, with Martinelli betting 280,000. Mizrachi called and drew two cards, while Martinelli drew one. Martinelli bet 840,000, and Mizrachi raised all-in. Martinelli called. Mizrachi stood pat with 9-5-4-3-2, while Martinelli, holding 7-5-4-2, drew a four, ending with a pair. Mizrachi’s low hand secured his win. Martinelli received $215,848, his largest career win.

This win comes ten years after Mizrachi’s victory in the $1,500 Dealer’s Choice Championship and eight years after his last bracelet winning the $10,000 stud championship and $242,662. He now has as many WSOP titles as his brother Michael.
