YouGov Study Reveals Surging Popularity of Live Streaming Among Sports Bettors

Renowned for its extensive research, YouGov delves into the US sports betting market to offer fascinating new information. The influence of ESPN Bet, a recent addition to the sports betting industry, is the main topic of their research.

YouGov’s study indicates that bettors are beginning to value the ability to watch live sporting events on the sportsbook platforms of their choice. A noteworthy tendency in the business is indicated by the astounding 71% of bettors between the ages of 25 and 44 who like this function.

Younger consumers, specifically those between the ages of 21 and 34, clearly favor bet365, with DraftKings emerging as the sportsbook of choice for all other age categories.

ESPN Bet’s Influence on Bettor Behavior

The study demonstrates how the introduction of ESPN Bet resulted in a noticeable change in betting behavior. More than half of the gamblers questioned said they used ESPN Bet more frequently than they had in the past.

It’s interesting to note that the study shows that potential bettors are more likely to open sportsbook accounts connected to streaming services when they are between the ages of 21 and 24. Almost two-thirds of this age group have this tendency, which holds true for a variety of age groups.
