The 2024 World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) schedule has been announced, featuring 15 gold bracelet events from September 18 through October 9. The venue for this prestigious event is King’s Resort Rozvadov, where players will compete for over €15 million in guaranteed prizes.
This year’s lineup is designed to appeal to a wide range of players, offering events for those just starting out to the seasoned pros. The action starts with a €350 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament called ‘The Opener’ from September 18-23, boasting a €1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. At the higher end, the €50,000 buy-in Diamond High Roller also promises a seven-figure guarantee.
The series isn’t limited to no-limit hold’em, despite it being the format for 11 of the 15 events. Players can also look forward to an eight-game mix and three pot-limit Omaha tournaments, adding variety to the competition.
The highlight is undoubtedly the €10,350 buy-in no-limit hold’em main event, scheduled for October 4-9, with a €5 million guaranteed prize pool, marking it as the event with the highest guarantee of the series.
The previous WSOPE main event saw a record 817 entries, far exceeding the €5 million guarantee and resulting in a €7,761,500 prize pool. Max Neugebauer, an Austrian and former professional basketball player, won the event, securing his first bracelet and a $1,590,000 prize.
