Indiana’s gaming landscape is about to get a boost with the arrival of Terre Haute Casino Resort (THCR), marking the state’s 13th casino establishment.

Come April 5th, Terre Haute Casino Resort will fling open its doors to the public, adding a new dimension to Indiana’s vibrant gaming portfolio.

A Festive Launch

To kick off the festivities, a ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 10:30 AM, with the first 1,000 patrons receiving complimentary t-shirts to commemorate the auspicious occasion.

Spanning 400,000 square feet, THCR boasts a comprehensive gaming experience, featuring 1,000 slot machines, 35 live table games, a sportsbook, and a poker room. Additionally, patrons can indulge in luxury accommodations at the 122-room hotel, along with a variety of dining options, including the Four Cornered Steakhouse and the Altitude Bar and Lounge.

Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI) spearheads the ownership and operation of THCR, further expanding its presence across 14 states.

Mike Rich, Vice President and General Manager of THCR, emphasized the casino’s significance to the Vigo County area, stating, “Terre Haute and the Wabash Valley have waited a long time for this vision to become a reality.
