New Luxury Hotel to Elevate Coushatta Casino Resort

The Coushatta Tribe is set to enhance the Coushatta Casino Resort with a new series of upgrades, including the addition of a luxurious eight-story hotel featuring 204 rooms and 100 suites. This announcement comes with the news of a groundbreaking ceremony scheduled for March 20 at 10 am, signaling the start of this ambitious project. The event, open to the public, will feature cultural performances by Coushatta Tribal dancers and drummers, followed by a cake-cutting celebration.

Taking place at the iconic Seven Clans statue, the ceremony will host key figures such as Chairman Jonathan Cernek, members of the Coushatta Tribal Council, Coushatta Casino Resort General Manager Todd Stewart, and representatives from TBE Architects, Yates Construction, and the Wenaha Group. This expansion will not only boost the resort’s capacity to over 1,000 rooms by its completion in 2025 but also generate new job opportunities in the area.

Chairman Jonathan Cernek expressed enthusiasm for the project, emphasizing the Tribe’s commitment to providing guests with an unparalleled experience that encompasses both premium accommodations and exceptional dining options. “As construction commences, we are excited about all the new venues and upgrades that we will be able to offer our guests, starting with this new hotel,” said Cernek. He highlighted the Tribe’s objective to elevate the gaming experience for visitors and to position the Coushatta Casino Resort as a leading destination in both the local market and the wider region.
