The Asian Poker Tour (APT), in partnership with Natural8, is set to launch its first event of the year and it is going to be BIG! APT Taipei 2024 will be kicking off on February 28 and runs through March 10.
This year, the APT Taipei event is expected to be a major draw for poker enthusiasts, especially with the APT Main Event scheduled from March 3-9. The event will have a record-breaking guaranteed prize pool of TWD 65 million (approximately USD 2 million), making it the largest in the tour’s history.
APT Taipei 2024 will unfold across two locations in central Taipei – the CTP Asia Poker Arena, renowned as Asia’s largest permanent poker room, and the CML (Chinese Mahjong League 華人麻將競技聯盟). These venues, situated just 1.7 km apart, offer a unique setting for this grand poker festival.
APT President Neil Johnson expressed excitement about the upcoming event, remarking, “The Main Event is just the first of several exciting announcements for APT Taipei 2024. We made history here last year and are optimistic that we will break those records again.”
