Caesars Entertainment Showcases Grand Transformation at Harrah’s Hoosier Park

With the conclusion of an enormous expansion project at Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino, Caesars Entertainment has achieved a significant milestone. With more than 30,000 extra square feet, the renovation adds a combination of gaming and dining experiences to the prestigious facility.

The renovated hotel had a spectacular ribbon-cutting event on January 9 to commemorate its grand opening. Among the notable visitors at the event were Caesars executives, including Colin Skidmore, Senior Vice President, and General Manager of Harrah’s Hoosier Park, as well as Regional President Dan Nita.

Skidmore expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We’re excited to provide more of everything our guests and team members love here at Hoosier Park and invite you to experience it yourself. We’re waiting to welcome you with everything you’d expect from a premier Caesars Entertainment property.”

A $40 Million Transformation

This $40 million project stands as Caesars Entertainment’s most substantial investment in Harrah’s Hoosier Park since its acquisition in 2018. The comprehensive expansion has given the casino floor a complete facelift, featuring an impressive array of more than 1,450 slot machines, 40 table games, and a dedicated promotions and events center tailored for various activities.

Notable additions include an expanded High Limits Room, featuring table games, a bar area, and enhanced restroom facilities. The Center Bar has undergone a fresh design, and a new restaurant area, housing Dash Café and Slice Pizzeria, provides convenient access from the casino floor, coupled with a scenic view of the racetrack.

The property’s aesthetic update encompasses new carpeting, lighting, signage, and a central medallion. The exterior has undergone a striking transformation with a redesigned porte-cochere, a luminous Harrah’s Hoosier Park sign, and an inviting façade. Parking has been restructured to ensure ample accessible parking, with particular consideration for disabled guests and veterans.

A major shift is also brought about by the project; the Caesars Rewards Center becomes a Caesars Rewards Experience Center. Through the use of mobile tablets, this change makes it simple for visitors to interact with representatives and promotional kiosks.

With the addition of the Sportsbook in 2019 and table games in 2020, as well as the Hoosier Outdoor Pavilion in 2023, Caesars has continuously increased the property’s value since its takeover. To further establish the facility as a top entertainment destination, it proudly hosted the Breeders Crown in 2020 and 2023.
