BetMGM and Score Gaming Roll Out Double-Up Blackjack Online

BetMGM has joined forces with Score Gaming, known for their innovative table games and side bets, to introduce Double-Up Blackjack online. This game is now available exclusively at BetMGM Casino and Borgata Online in New Jersey, marking its first online debut.

Double-Up Blackjack redefines the classic blackjack experience. Players have the opportunity to double their bet on any two-card hand, except when they have a natural blackjack. By placing an additional bet, up to the original wager, players engage in a more dynamic gameplay.

The game’s unique feature is Score Gaming’s End 16 Rule, which ensures that players win if the dealer has a 16, but they never lose. Additionally, the 16 Bonus, a new side bet, rewards players when the dealer’s hand totals 16. The payout for this bet can reach up to 500x, depending on how many cards the dealer uses to get to 16.

Oliver Bartlett, BetMGM’s Vice President of Gaming Product, shared his excitement about this new offering: “Double-Up Blackjack offers a twist on the classic game and adds another layer of excitement for players. Double-Up Blackjack further strengthens the variety of our table game offerings that feature in-house produced titles from Entain, as well as great partners like Score Gaming.”

Since its introduction in land-based casinos in 2012, Double-Up Blackjack has achieved global success, with over a third of casinos featuring multiple versions of the game. This online version is the first in a series of End 16 games from Score Gaming.
