The Seminole Tribe of Florida is set to introduce new gaming experiences at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood and other Seminole Casinos starting Thursday, December 7. The move marks a big expansion in Florida’s gaming sector, with the addition of craps, roulette, and retail sports betting. The launch event will feature a star-studded lineup, including Sofia Vergara, Jon Bon Jovi, Tiësto, and many other renowned celebrities and sports figures, who will grace the red carpet and participate in inaugural gaming activities.
This expansion results from the Gaming Compact signed between the Tribe and the State of Florida in 2021. Seminole Tribe of Florida Chairman Marcellus Osceola Jr. expressed pride in this advancement, highlighting it as a step that aligns the Seminole casinos with global leaders in the industry. Jim Allen, CEO of Seminole Gaming and Chairman of Hard Rock International, anticipates a positive ripple effect on tourism and employment in Florida, thanks to these new gaming offerings.
The event will not just be about gaming. There will also be a four-day residency of Carbone restaurant at Cipresso, the resort’s Italian-American restaurant. Renowned chef Mario Carbone will bring the essence of New York’s Italian-American dining to Florida. The weekend will also feature performances by award-winning artists, open to the public.
Celebrating this milestone, special guests will join Chairman Osceola and Seminole Tribal Council members in a ceremony to kick off the new games. This launch is more than just an expansion of gaming options; it’s a celebration of culture, entertainment, and economic growth.
