The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has unanimously decided to extend the Rivers Casino Philadelphia operator Sugarhouse HSP Gaming, LP’s Category 2 stand-alone casino license for an additional five years.
The choice was made following a thorough examination process in which the operator established its dedication to upholding the conditions of the previously authorized casino operator’s license. A luxurious boutique hotel in Fishtown was the subject of proposals presented by Rivers Casino Philadelphia in July. By the end of 2023, the 62 suite Riversuites at The Battery hotel is anticipated to open. The Battery, a mixed-use lifestyle complex on Fishtown’s Beach Street, will house it, enhancing the thriving and expanding neighborhood.
