Leaf Trading Cards to Debut New Poker Collection in 2024

Leaf Trading Cards is gearing up to release its upcoming set of poker trading cards in 2024. This launch marks the first time since 2011 that the brand is releasing such cards. The initiative is a collaboration between the Las Vegas-based Poker Royalty and Leaf.

In this forthcoming edition, card collectors can anticipate featuring 40 renowned poker professionals. Notable names include Daniel Weinman, the winner of the World Series of Poker Main Event, along with icons Phil Hellmuth and Daniel Negreanu.

Josh Pankow, Vice President of Leaf Trading Cards, expressed his excitement in a recent statement. He mentioned, “Our last project together was a decade ago, and we both agreed it has been too long. Even better, we’ve already got Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu, and Dan Weinman attached to this project. When this set is released, we will have a ton of great cards covering poker players from all eras, including the newest players people are excited about.”

Leaf’s journey with poker trading cards began in 2006 in association with Razor Poker. Subsequent sets made their appearances in 2009, 2010, and the latest in 2011. That edition highlighted poker enthusiasts like Brad Garrett, Lou Diamond Phillips, and the late Dr. Jerry Buss, in addition to numerous professional poker players.

While Weinman, Hellmuth, and Negreanu have been confirmed for the 2024 collection, other poker professionals to be featured will be revealed in due course.

Reflecting on this development, Weinman remarked, “Like a lot of kids, I collected sports cards growing up. To think I will have my own trading card is crazy to me, and I’m really excited about it.”
