Multinational gaming company Codere has made its mark in Mexico City with the launch of its inaugural Poker Room, along with the introduction of the Codere Poker Series brand. The new Poker Room is situated within Casino Codere Meneo in Colonia Nápoles.
At the inauguration ceremony, which featured live music performances, Director of Operations Francisco Vidal Caamaño emphasized Codere’s dedication to innovation and highlighted the rapid execution of this initiative, taking only three to four weeks to complete. “We are very excited about this poker room, which will undoubtedly transform the landscape of gambling in the Mexican capital and the country as a whole,” he stated.
Marcelo Silva, Regional Director of Live Gaming for LatAm at Codere, expressed the company’s belief in the potential of Mexican poker and its desire to elevate it to an international level. Silva outlined three key pillars that underpin Codere’s comprehensive approach: customer experience, adherence to international standards (including the implementation of TDA rules and cutting-edge software), and strategic alliances with renowned brands that enhance the overall offering.
The newly unveiled Poker Room at Casino Codere Meneo aims to provide a complete poker experience, catering to players from practice sessions to participation in festivals and tournaments. The facility boasts ten high-quality professional tables, including one designed for live broadcasts.
Additionally, the Poker Room features private areas for immersive gameplay and exclusive meetings to foster enthusiasm and excitement for poker.
