Next week, the much-anticipated third season of the Global Poker US Poker Open will kick off, featuring over 60 events associated with the PokerGO US Poker Open (USPO) in Las Vegas. The series will run from August 21 through September 3 and will offer entrants a chance to play alongside some of the world’s top high-stakes poker players at the PokerGO Studio.
The Global Poker series promises to be a diverse one, catering to a wide range of poker enthusiasts. It includes a mix of super deep stack tournaments and bounty events, with buy-ins ranging from SC 99 to GC 99,000. This latest series follows on the heels of the successful Global Poker GOAT V series, where “Narcisprince79” and “Slob On Me Knob” emerged victorious in the two main events.
During the Global Poker US Open, players can compete in 64 trophy events, highlighted by the SC 250,000 guaranteed and GC 125,000,000 guaranteed Main Events. A staggering total of GC 757,500,000 and SC 1,515,000 in guaranteed prize pools will be awarded throughout the series.
Leaderboards for both GC and SC players will also be a key feature of the series. The overall GC Leaderboard Champion will receive a GP X USPO Champion hoodie, Global Poker X USPO apparel, five free entries for the Global Poker Scrimmage Tournament, and the prestigious Golden Crown Trophy.
The SC leaderboard winner will receive a $5,000 trip to Las Vegas, where they’ll get an additional $5,000 check plus other prizes at the PokerGO Studio.
In addition to the 64 trophy events, the Global Poker USPO will offer numerous satellite tournaments daily, providing players with opportunities to win their way into bigger events. Buy-ins for these satellite tournaments start at SC 5.5 for the SC 33 tournaments and SC 16.5 for the SC 99 tournaments. Players should also be on the lookout for reward drops that can be used as entries into the SC 5.5 and SC 16.5 satellites.
