Brighton’s picturesque seaside is about to get bustling as PokerStars’ acclaimed United Kingdom & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) makes its way there.
From September 5 to 10, the Rendezvous Casino in Brighton will be hosting the UKIPT Brighton. This six-day affair promises sixteen action-packed events. Notably, there’s the £1,100 buy-in Main Event, a magnet for poker enthusiasts.
When it comes to details, the Main Event unfolds over three distinct flights. Participants have two options: play 40-minute blinds or opt for a brisker 20-minute turbo structure. Regardless of the chosen flight, players kick off with a substantial 30,000 chips. The blinds are set at a starting point of 100/100, paired with a 100 big blind ante.
The tournament layout is accommodating. Latecomers can register until the tenth level wraps up. After that, players get a well-deserved 75-minute dinner break. As for the game’s endgame on each flight, the action halts when only a lean 15% of the initial players are left on the tables. If luck isn’t on a player’s side and their chips vanish during the late registration, they can re-enter the fray, with up to three re-entries allowed per flight.
