The well-known World Poker Tour Prime series made its way to Aix-en-Provence for a week full of poker fun. The $1,100 Main Event was held at Pasino GRAND, teaming up with TexaPoker. At the end of it all, Samy Boujmala came out on top.
Beating 457 other players, Boujmala won the top prize of €93,580 ($102,938). He also got a €10,400 ticket to play in the WPT World Championship in Wynn Las Vegas later this year.
In the final match, Boujmala played against Loic Menneteau and won. This win was his second biggest one om jos career, and so far he has been doing really great in 2023.
Menneteau got €55,400 ($60,940) for coming in second. Hugo Heiter was third and got €40,700 ($44,770). Leo Soma, who once won a WSOP bracelet, was eighth and got €10,320 ($11,352).
In total, the WPT Prime Aix-en-Provence Main Event had a prize pool of €438,720 ($482,592). The top 59 players split this money.
