PokerStars is continuing its tradition of organizing engaging events for its community. The platform has announced the return of the Midstakes Madness Series, specifically tailored for mid-stakes players, following a year-long break.
Over its illustrious history, PokerStars has launched numerous high-profile series like WCOOP, SCOOP, Bounty Builder Series, and Winter Series. Alongside these well-known events, they also include a range of more affordable tournaments, offering all poker enthusiasts a chance to join the action.
This time around, the Midstakes Madness Series offers a total prize pool of $5.8 million. The series is composed of 61 tournaments and is slated to commence on August 6, running for a total of eight days. The buy-ins for the tournaments have been set between $11 and $109, ensuring a range of players can participate.
The launch of this series comes hot on the heels of PokerStars’ MicroMillions Series, a popular event for low-stakes players that concluded in mid-July. This series was notable for its Main Event, which exceeded its $500,000 guarantee with ease. A large field of 27,863 entrants each put up a $22 buy-in, amassing a prize pool that exceeded half a million dollars at $557,260.
