The grand opening of the spectacular Grand Westside Hotel within the dynamic Westside City development in Manila’s Entertainment City is expected to take place in the Philippine gaming sector. The magnificent Grand Westside Hotel will be located on a huge 31-hectare (76.6-acre) land in Manila’s Westside City. This 19-story hotel will include 1,530 luxurious rooms and two stunning towers. While the first tower’s amenities will be available to tourists in a matter of months, the second tower will open to the public next year.
Aside from the luxurious hotel rooms, the Grand Westside Hotel will have a two-level retail and commercial area with a floor area of 1,995 square meters (21,474 square feet). The pool area on the fifth floor is an oasis for guests, with spectacular views of Manila Bay, a children’s pool, gazebo, resting area, and a tranquil Zen garden.
Guests can use four event rooms, a well-equipped gym, and massage rooms at the hotel. Four dining options promise a delightful culinary experience, while VIP visitors will be treated to a spectacular Executive Lounge.
Megaworld Hotels & Resorts is no stranger to Westside City, since it already owns and operates the Kingsford Hotel Manila. The facility, which will open in 2021, now has 529 beautiful rooms. Megaworld, on the other hand, is slated to break its own record with the planned Grand Westside Hotel, producing the country’s largest hotel complex to date.
Megaworld Hotels & Resorts Managing Director Cleofe Albiso expressed delight about the upcoming Grand Westside Hotel, stressing its strategic location just a short drive away from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) through the NAIA Expressway (NAIAX). The hotel promises spectacular views of the famous Manila Bay sunset as well as the skylines of Makati, Manila, and Taguig City.
The building will include an elaborate casino hotel complex in addition to the premium Grand Westside Hotel. Suntrust Resort Holdings Inc, a subsidiary of LET, is leading this ambitious project, which will have 460 exquisite five-star hotel rooms. The structure, which is expected to cost $1 billion USD, will definitely captivate visitors.
The casino hotel complex’s major draw will be its cutting-edge gaming arena, which will appeal to both the “mass and VIP markets.” The casino and hotel are set to open their doors next year.
