WPT EveryOne for One Drop’s $2.2M Prize Snagged by Bin Weng

Philadelphia’s own Bin Weng has achieved another seven-figure win this year, securing $2,227,054 at the World Poker Tour (WPT) EveryOne for One Drop on Friday. This marks his second WPT victory within two months, adding to his impressive record, which includes a final table spot at the WPT Choctaw in May.

The EveryOne for One Drop, a charity-focused event, boasted a $10,500 buy-in and drew a significant crowd. With 1,676 entries, it accumulated a substantial prize pool of $16,257,200.

This year has been massive for Weng. His winning streak started with a $1 million win at the $5,300 The Return at Borgata in Atlantic City in January. He then proceeded to make it to back-to-back final tables at the World Poker Tour in April and May. He secured a hefty win of $1,128,250 at the $3,500 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown.

Though he held the chip lead at the second final table, the WPT Choctaw, he finished in fourth place, adding another $143,000 to his earnings. Before the 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP), he claimed second place and $145,000 in a high roller event at The Lodge in Austin, Texas. Despite a lukewarm performance at the WSOP, he finished the summer with his career’s highest win of $2.2 million at Wynn.

Weng’s total live tournament winnings now approach $7 million, a sum that is likely to increase further by the year’s end.
