The 19th season of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit, renowned for bringing top-tier poker action to players across the United States, is slated to kick off in a thrilling style. The premier event will take place at Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, Oklahoma, on July 19th, 2023, following on the back of the ongoing record-setting WSOP in Las Vegas. The new season’s grand finale is set for May 9-20, 2024, at Caesars Southern Indiana.
The upcoming season will unfold in 25 exciting stops, and further stops will be revealed in July. Also, WSOP Online Circuit events will occur monthly on WSOP.COM, according to the initial schedule release.
In the words of Ty Stewart, the Senior Vice President and Executive Director of WSOP, “We are on pace to make history with the largest WSOP of all time this year…we expect this energy to roll into the WSOP Circuit this summer, setting some records along the way as well.”
The 19th season of the WSOP Circuit will commence with the Choctaw Circuit Event. Winners of either the live or online circuit events till May 2024 will qualify for the much-awaited, invitation-only “Tournament of Champions” during the 2024 WSOP tournament at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. Ronnie Day claimed this year’s TOC title, which comes with a $200,000 top prize, a gold bracelet, and a golden ring for winners.
The 2023-24 WSOP Circuit itinerary welcomes two newcomers, Graton Casino in Rohnert Park, California, and Horseshoe Hammond Casino in Hammond, Indiana. The latter will see two circuit stops in early October and early March. The season will span across ten states, visiting many fan-favorite locations.
