It’s been more than a decade since the World Series of Poker (WSOP) made a footprint in London. In April, a joint announcement from WSOP and GGPoker set the poker world abuzz. The two brands unveiled their ambitious plan for a return to London’s vibrant poker scene with the Super Circuit series, set to take place at the iconic JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel.
The Wait is Over
Before long, the much-anticipated detailed list of events for the London Super Circuit series was released. Kicking off on July 27, the series opener is a £560 buy-in Mystery Million tournament with a cool £1 million guaranteed prize pool. The rest of the series schedule offers an exciting mix of 14 other tournaments including the series’ flagship, a £3 million guaranteed main event.

- Event 7 – August 3: £230 Ladies Event (£10,000 guaranteed)
- Event 8 – August 4 – 8: £1,100 WSOP Circuit Main Event (£1 million guarantee)
- Event 9 – August 7 – 8: £2,200 High Roller (£250,000 guarantee)
- Event 10 – August 7 – 8: £230 GGPoker Flip & Go
- Event 11 – August 8 – 13: £3,300 WSOP Super Circuit Main Event (£3 million guarantee)

With a spectrum of events aimed at catering to diverse bankrolls, the WSOP Super Circuit series is set to make a significant mark in the UK poker scene. In order to broaden the participant base, GGPoker is also hosting qualifiers and guaranteeing at least 200 seats for the £3,300 WSOP Super Circuit main event.
Buy-In Methods for WSOP Super Circuit London
Notably, the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel will not accept cash transactions. To play in WSOP Super Circuit London events, players must plan to buy in ahead of time using one of the following methods:
