International Game Technology PLC (IGT), a well-known international gambling corporation with headquarters in London, has announced a three-year extension of its relationship with AB Svenska Spel, a significant Swedish gambling operator. With the help of the agreement, IGT can continue to offer AB Svenska Spel its top video lottery products and services, including as the INTELLIGENTM central system, QuasarTM Video Lottery Terminals, high-quality games, and cutting-edge IGTPayTM cashless technology. This collaboration, which has existed since 1996, reaffirms IGT’s vital contribution to the development and modernization of Svenska Spel.
The expanded relationship has been welcomed by Ola Enquist, Business Area Manager of Casino Cosmopol & Vegas at Svenska Spel AB. She emphasized IGT’s commitment to Svenska Spel’s development and innovation. Enquist pointed out that IGT has the perfect content, technology, and services that permit Svenska Spel to expand its business in a responsible manner and provide customers with experiences of the future.
IGT Senior Vice President EMEA Gaming Mark MacCombie acknowledged the productive partnership between IGT and Svenska Spel in the Swedish market. Svenska Spel’s focus on providing superior player experiences and willingness to adapt new technology were both lauded by MacCombie, who also emphasized IGT’s commitment to supporting Svenska Spel’s growth objectives. MacCombie spoke to the joint achievement of the two businesses, which included the rollout of Svenska Spel’s cashless system powered by IGTPay.
In addition to the expansion of the relationship in Sweden, IGT has also established an eight-year cooperation with the Connecticut Lottery Corporation (CLC) through its subsidiary IGT Global Solutions Corporation. This partnership seeks to introduce the iLottery gaming platform from IGT, which will debut in the latter part of this year’s autumn, and to deliver numerous enhancements to CLC’s products. Through a new website and mobile application created by IGT, the technology will allow CLC to provide keno and lottery games based on draw results.
The contract between IGT and CLC is expected to stay in effect until May 2031, with a potential four-year extension. IGT’s extensive iLottery technology, created to maximize back-end efficiency and provide an engaging player experience, will be advantageous to CLC. The system has cutting-edge features for responsible gaming that give users configurable options and a full digital solution for all gaming needs.
The Connecticut Lottery Corporation’s President & CEO, Gregory Smith, reaffirmed the company’s dedication to offering players cutting-edge and practical options. Smith thinks IGT’s iLottery system will provide players with the same fantastic experiences they have at retail in a responsible, digital manner, making lottery play more fun and available.
Srini Nedunuri, IGT Senior Vice President, Global iLottery, emphasized the company’s experience in providing lottery customers throughout the world with solutions that stimulate growth. Nedunuri emphasized IGT’s commitment to working closely with CLC over the next eight years to establish a world-class iLottery programme that maximizes funds for good causes in the state and expressed excitement about delivering iLottery to CLC’s players.
The fact that IGT serves as the main technology provider for 25 US lotteries, eight of the top 10 lotteries worldwide, and 16 of the top 25 lotteries further solidifies the company’s image as a global leader in the lottery industry. With these recent alliances, IGT is able to maintain its standing as a dependable and cutting-edge supplier of gaming technology and services to operators all over the world.
