The Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma has concluded its search for a managing partner, ultimately choosing Caesars Entertainment to manage their forthcoming integrated resort. With Caesars on board, the tribe is set to embark on the next phase of the resort’s development.
Location and Launch: Harrah’s Branded Resort
Situated between Tulsa and Oklahoma City, just off the I-44, the integrated resort will be a welcome addition to the Oklahoma landscape. Upon opening, guests can expect a variety of casino and dining options under the Harrah’s brand. The resort’s development will be executed in multiple phases, with the hotel construction taking place during the second phase to offer guests an extended stay.
Anticipated Amenities and Details
While specific details have not yet been made public, announcements regarding additional amenities and features are expected in the near future. Perry Ahhaitty, Chairman of the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma, expressed satisfaction with the partnership, citing Caesars’ extensive experience with Native American tribes in planning and developing successful integrated resorts.
Caesars Rewards and Community Impact
Visitors to the new resort will have access to the Caesars Rewards program, which is expected to boost the resort’s popularity both within Oklahoma and beyond. The partnership will also generate funding for the tribe’s investments in health and safety initiatives, as well as create job opportunities for tribal members and surrounding communities.
Building a Lasting Relationship
Ahhaitty expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, saying, “We look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with Caesars and the local community with the brand-new Harrah’s right here in Oklahoma.” Robert Livingston, SVP of Development at Caesars Entertainment, added, “We are honored to be selected by the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma to help them achieve their goals. We are looking forward to bringing Harrah’s to a new market. With properties throughout the midwest, Harrah’s is the perfect brand fit for Oklahoma.”
The Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma already operates several casinos, including Cimarron Casino and Ioway Casino, as well as hosting slot machines at the Iowa Travel Plaza and Mart.
