World Series of Poker Announces 2023 WSOP Schedule

The World Series of Poker (WSOP), the wealthiest, most famous, and longest-running poker series, today unveiled the daily event schedule for its 2023 series, which is building up to be the biggest and best WSOP of all time, with a tournament calendar likely to smash past records. The 54th annual WSOP comes to the Las Vegas Strip from May 30 to July 18, 2023, at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, with more tables, greater diversity, and the greatest slate of bracelet events ever scheduled in its illustrious history.

The 2023 WSOP builds on the success of the 2022 tournament, which drew 197,626 players from more than 100 countries and produced a record-breaking $347.9 million total prize pool in its new home.

With 608 tables spread across more than 200,000 square feet of convention space, this summer’s event will have the highest capacity in series history, as well as 24/7 live cash game action, including a brand-new permanent hall of fame poker room at Horseshoe Las Vegas and the first-ever $300 price point tournament in WSOP history.

The $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em World Championship, often known as “The Main Event,” will return July 3-17 after attracting 8,663 players in 2022, the second-largest field in live poker history.

Ty Stewart, SVP & Executive Director of the WSOP, said:

“With the momentum generated from the WSOP’s debut on the Las Vegas Strip last year, we expect a record-breaking WSOP and World Championship at Paris and Horseshoe Las Vegas in 2023. If the Main Event is on your bucket list, this is the year to get to Vegas.”

There are many ways to qualify online, which include on GGPoker and WSOP.com

600 Main Event Seats Guaranteed from GGPoker

GGPoker, the world’s largest poker room and exclusive WSOP satellite partner, has stepped up to give 500 guaranteed Main Event seats through international qualifiers on GGPoker.com and additional 100 seats on the ClubGG.net membership site. The 600 total seats, or $6,000,000 in prize money, more than quadruple GGPoker’s official qualifying from the 2022 series. In March, online satellites will be launched.

WSOP.COM’s 112 Seat Sprint:

As the poker world descends on Las Vegas, WSOP.COM emerges as the strongest option for qualifying for the 2023 Main Event. Between June 25 and July 8, 112 Main Event tickets will be guaranteed on WSOP Online. The race to break the record will begin on Sunday, June 25, with ten seats guaranteed every day. The centerpiece $250,000 guarantee, 25 Seat Scramble kicks off the festivities on Sunday, July 2. On Saturday, July 8, a last-chance drawing for the remaining slot in the Main Event will take place. Furthermore, “All-In” satellites ranging from $80 to $126 will be available everyday from June 25 to July 8 with no costs.
