Slotegrator, a game aggregator and provider of online casino and sportsbook software, has finished the application procedure and received another license, this time from ONJN in Romania.
The Romanian regulatory organization, ONJN, grants licenses to both B2C and B2B gaming enterprises. Slotegrator has secured a Class 2 license, allowing it to offer its goods and services to Romanian online casino and sportsbook businesses.
Romania is a very busy and properly regulated jurisdiction that is very appealing to operators, and obtaining authorization to work there is a significant step in the right way.
Romania is quickly becoming a preferred target market for iGaming companies, resulting in healthy and long-term growth. Total GGR for the market is anticipated to reach €900 million every year, owing to the country’s almost 20 million people, 88% internet penetration rate, and long-standing cultural acceptability of gambling.
Video slots (particularly those with progressive jackpots), live dealer versions of roulette and blackjack (as well as gameshow variations), and poker are all popular casino games. Football, cycling, handball, tennis, and esports are all popular sports to gamble on.
Yana Khaidukova, Managing Director of Slotegator, commented:
“Being on the market for over a decade, Slotegrator has built a reputation as a provider of high quality solutions for online casinos and sportsbooks, we have clients all over the world and our goal is to always offer them the latest trends and the most innovative technologies. We value the trust they grant us and do our best to justify it. Today we would like to offer them another great opportunity — the Romanian gambling market.”
