Pragmatic Play, a major content supplier to the iGaming industry, strikes the sweet spot with the debut of Sweet Powernudge, a new candy-inspired slot that will witness the return of a fan favorite feature.
Symbols depicting various candies, jellies, and chocolates must create a cluster of five or more adjacent matching symbols to generate a win over 65 reels. Any winnings activate the Powernudge feature, in which reels with at least one winning symbol push down one row, revealing fresh symbols at the top of the board and the potential to produce more symbol combinations.
During any basic game spin, a multiplier reel adjacent to the standard reels can spin at random, offering a 1x to 10x multiplier to any wins. This also nudges if the conventional reels activate the Powernudge feature, gathering extra multipliers and improving the title’s winning potential.
Four or more scatter symbols trigger seven free spins. During each spin, the multiplier reel is active and nudges down, accumulating more multipliers for each Powernudge triggered on the game board. A retrigger may also be obtained, with four scatters earning three extra spins.
This latest slot release comes on the heels of recent blockbusters such as Pizza! Pizza? Pizza, Hot Pepper, and Reel Banks are among over 250 distinct titles in Pragmatic Play’s award-winning games catalog.
Irina Cornides, Chief Operating Officer at Pragmatic Play, said:
“The Powernudge mechanic is a huge favourite with slot enthusiasts, as we’ve seen with previous hit games such as Rise of Giza Powernudge and Goblin Heist Powernudge.
“Building on this feature has seen the introduction of a multiplier reel, which can dramatically increase wins both in the base game and free spins round. We are also returning to a successful candy theme in this game, with the award-winning Sugar Rush™ and Sweet Bonanza™ already making use of this style. This title delivers on the features and mechanics that players look for in terms of replayability and win potential.”
