The Dutch gambling authority, Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) has given a new iGaming licence to Belgium’s Casino de Spa, one of the oldest land-based casinos in the world.
Casino de Spa can now offer online games of chance over the internet to players in the Netherlands, effectively February 2nd for a period of five years, to February 2027.
Casino de Spa will enter the Netherlands via its Casino777.be online brand and is now the 12th operator to have obtained an iGaming licence in the Netherlands since the country launched its regulated online gambling market on 1 October last year.
Large global powerhouse, such as Flutter (Betfair, PokerStars), Entain (bwin, partypoker), 888 and Kindred (Unibet) are still waiting for the green light, while its largest competitors bet365 and GGPoker are already live in the Dutch market.
