PokerStars’ European Poker Tour Visiting Prague & Sochi in March

The European Poker Tour (EPT) is back after a long forced absent due to unforeseen global events.

Czech Republic’s Prague, a long-time favorite among many poker players is the first venue for the EPT. Initially planned for December 2021, EPT Prague will run from March 5-March 16 at Hilton.

According to a PokerStars blog post, “health and safety of players and our staff is paramount to PokerStars, and organizers are going above and beyond the current local measures to ensure everyone is safe at the events.”

This requires players and visitors to comply with one of the requirements below to take part in the EPT Prague:

  • Provide Valid COVID-19 Vaccination certificate
  • Provide official proof of recovery from COVID-19 within 180 days of arrival

A temperature scan prior to entering the casino is in place as well as mandatory face mask when in the casino.

Tournament schedule can be found here. Cash games will also run for the duration of the festival.

PokerStars is running direct qualifier tournaments online for the €5,300 Main Event every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday as well as numerous other satellites, including freerolls.

EPT Sochi will be the next stop for the poker circus, running from March 18-March 27. When and if fan-favorite EPT Barcelona will be held, remains unclear.
