DraftKings Launches My Budget Builder for Player Limits

DraftKings has launched a new feature called My Budget Builder, designed to help players take control of their spending habits across its platforms. This tool offers a guided experience for setting personal limits on things like deposit amounts, wagers, time spent, and contest entries.

The new tool walks players through several categories, including maximum wager size and total loss limits. After choosing their preferences, users confirm their settings for a specific time period. Limits can be reduced at any point, but not increased until the set duration ends.

Lori Kalani, Chief Responsible Gaming Officer at DraftKings, explained the thinking behind the launch: “My Budget Builder is a new kind of Responsible Gaming tool—intuitive, proactive and personalized. It reflects our ongoing commitment to creating fun, enjoyable environments for our players. By enhancing how players engage with limit-setting, we are providing another resource that players can use to help them play responsibly.”

Players can access the tool via the DraftKings Responsible Gaming Center or directly within the mobile application. It complements My Stat Sheet, another responsible gaming feature launched in the previous year that offers users detailed insights into their betting and playing habits.
